Q. Question Regarding Photocopying/Scanning Service for Archival Collections
Hello,
I need copies of documents found in 14 folders in the UAW President's Office: Douglas A. Fraser Collection Papers, 1971-1985 (Accession #1116). Is it possible to have these documents either photocopied or scanned and sent to me? If so, what would be the cost?
I'm trying to determine whether it would be more cost efficient to have this done or travel to the archives myself. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Take care,
Brian

Answer
Good afternoon, Dr. Mueller. Thank you for contacting the Walter P. Reuther Library of Labor and Urban Affairs. We do provide scan on demand services at a nominal fee. You have noted that you're interested in the contents of 14 folders located in UAW President's Office: Douglas Fraser Records (LR001116). We are happy to do a preliminary page count, if you specify which 14 folders you'd like to have us digitize. However, since there is a flat rate charge and per sheet charge, you may find it cheaper to visit in person. If you'd like us to provide you with a page count and thus a better idea of what this would cost, please fill out the form found on our website as completely as possible.

Note that we are closed over the weekend. I look forward to assisting you further with your request.
