I am trying to find evidence that the phrase, " Bread and Roses" was actually used during the Lawrence Strike of 1912, IWW Strike
Answer
I was not able to find the evidence you request in the IWW Records or in the IWW image gallery on our website, which contains Lawrence photos. There may be something buried in one of the related collections, like the papers of Elizabeth Gurley Flynn, William Trautmann, Mary Heaton Vorse, or Matilda Robbins. Another avenue to pursue would be a review of the IWW's primary publication, Solidarity.
