Has the James and Grace Lee Boggs Papers been digitized?
Paul,

My name is Ryan McCarty and I am a graduate student at the University of Montana in Missoula. I am currently researching James and Grace Lee Boggs and am aware of your library's collection on the couple. I was wondering if, by chance, any of the materials had been digitized and could be accessed from my location. I have found a few digital copies of sources from various databases, but the online research aid for the collection at the Walter P. Reuther Library contains far more than I have been able to obtain to this point. If there is any direction you could point me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Best,

Answer

Good morning, Ryan. Thank you for contacting the Walter P. Reuther Library of Labor and Urban Affairs. Sadly, we have not begun work to digitize the James and Grace Lee Boggs Papers (UP001342). We do, however, offer remote retrieval services at a nominal charge. Please read more about that on our forms site <https://forms.wayne.edu/584082631d4b9>. After researching the guide <https://reuther.wayne.edu/files/UP001342.pdf> for this collection, perhaps you could save yourself a visit by narrowing down some materials that we could send to you? Again, thank you for contacting us with your question, I hope we can help you further.
