Wayne State Intercollegiate Billiards Championship

I received a phone call at the Reading Room while I was on Reading Room duty. It was from a gentleman asking if Wayne State had had an Intercollegiate Billiards Championship in the 1960s and/or the 1970s. The full text of the reference request is attached here.

I received a phone call at the Reading Room while I was on Reading Room duty. It was from a gentleman asking if Wayne State had had an Intercollegiate Billiards Championship in the 1960s and/or the 1970s.
I took his contact information and let him know Iā€™d get back to him.
I looked in the Athletics Collection, the Vertical Files, and the Yearbooks in the Reading Room ā€“ as well as the WSU Health and Physical Education Division Records.
All told me that Wayne State has not had a Billiards Team ā€“ whether Intercollegiate or even at the Club or Intramural levels in that time window.
I phoned him back and let him know. He thanked me.
