I received from a phone call from a Wayne State alum and present employee, Michele Norris (she works in the School of Education). She’s wanting to take further classes and needs course descriptions from the program she was in from 2000 to 2005: the Interdisciplinary Program. I told her that I’d look into it and get back to her.

Alison,

In ASpace there is a collection listed. It is unprocessed. I c/p some info from the record:

WCollege of Liberal Arts Department of Interdisciplinary Studies Records
Identifier
WSR00196020080310
Accession Date
2008-03-10
Content Description
Departmental records, meeting minutes biographical files, course descriptions, student capstone projects, bound M.I.S. theses, photographs, videotapes.

Go to the case files in the stacks and look under acc. # 1960 to see if there is an inventory for this accession.

I'll be happy to help you further if you need it.

Hi Kathy and Kristen -

I just received my first official reference request!

I have an alum who is asking for:

Course Descriptions for Interdisciplinary Programs from 2000 to 2005.

Do you have an idea of where I ought to begin?

Thanks In Advance!

Hi Ms. Norris -
I just tried phoning you in your office.
Feel free to follow up with me via phone and/or via email.
I've located hard copy Schedules of Classes from 2000 to 2003.
And we have some material otherwise on WSU's Interdisciplinary Program here in the Archives.
You're welcome to come to the Reuther Library to access the materials.
You would be able to take photos of any materials that you find useful with a smartphone.
- Or we can certainly scan what you find to be useful.
I'm happy to schedule with you at your convenience.
Let me know just how you would like to proceed.
My Best,
